Hello!
Thanks for checking the rate – here’s what’s happening.
The rate displayed on Enni is the standard rate, which is the hire fee for the facility plus Enni’s booking fee of 3.6%.
For example, if the hire fee is £100 per hour, then we’ll display £103.60.
For nearly all the bookings that are made using Enni, this is the hourly rate you’ll be quoted at the end of the booking process before you decide whether to complete the booking.
Occasionally the final rate might change from what’s quoted here, and that’s for three different reasons.
VAT
VAT is a tax, which bookings on Enni are nearly all exempt from.
However, in about 10% of cases VAT applies.
The issue is that I need to know the full details of your booking request before I can work out if it’s VATable or not.
If so, then I’ll display this at the end before you decide to book.
Complex Bookings
Your host venue might need to change the offered rate if your booking is particularly large or complicated.
For instance, if you are consuming food and drink, or bringing a lot of equipment, or if you want to invite a large number of people.
If so, your venue host will contact you about your booking to understand your needs better and offer you an updated price, which you can choose either to accept or to turn down.
Future Bookings
Your Venue in future might plan a price increase.
If the price increase has already been set, you’ll see it when you select the future date in this booking process.
Also, if you are making a long-term booking that can run for months or years, your venue might change the prices at some point in the future after you’ve started your contract.
You will always get 90 days’ notice of any requested price increase, and you will have the option of accepting the change or cancelling.
I hope that’s helpful,
Enni
